In accordance with GD No. 1024/2011 concerning some measures for the reorganization of the electricity producers under the authority of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment, the process of establishing Societatea Complexul Energetic Oltenia – SA, administered in a dualist system, by the Directorate and the Supervisory Board has started.
Complexul Energetic Oltenia – a company established on May 31, 2012 following the decision of the Romanian Government to reorganize the power sector, by the merger of Societatea Nationala a Lignitului Oltenia and the three power generation companies(Complexul Energetic Rovinari, Complexul Energetic Turceni and Complexul Energetic Craiova) .
